New Zealand Security Personnel:
Fully Trained and Certified
With the rules and regulations around the security industry in a constant state of flux, we thought we’d keep you up to date with some of these changes.
Nutech Security are, of course, always at the forefront of such regulatory changes, and you can rest assured that our security personnel have all the required NZQA certifications. You’re in safe hands with us!
So, what are these new regulations? Who do they effect? This doesn’t apply to personnel who only do monitoring or dispatch, just “front-line” security staff. Basically, we’re talking about any security personnel involved either crowd, on-site property or personal security work.
The new training requirements are essentially made up of three NZQA units that needs to be undertaken (for full details, follow the link to the Ministry of Justice website, below). These courses can be done at a number of training organisations, details of these are also at the MoJ website.
Here at Nutech Security, we think changes and updates to security rules and regulations are always a good thing – as a client, you always want to know that the people protecting you, or your property, are above board, fully trained and licenced – just like ours.
These newest regulatory requirements came into full effect on October 1st 2014. Whether your Business’ Security staff are in-house or not, insist your personnel are 100% qualified and certified.
